It's interesting how people think they've got a right to vote Charley out regardless if she's up. The producers fix it for Charley because the audience have proved several times that they can't help themselves from voting out the entertainment catalysts. People don't seem to get it that Charley creates a fire in the other housemates which makes
them more entertaining aswell as Charley and her indivdual entertainment qualities.
Preventing Charley from being up for eviction is much the same process as a parent not letting a child eat all the biscuits from the tin at once. Given the chance, the child would attempt it, so parent needs to stand in and put the tin high on the top shelf, out of reach. And yes, the child screams and stamps it's feet like it's not fair, but it's for it's own good.
