Secular people born in Christian countries aren't considered default Christians, yet in Israel you're Jew by default, even if you're secular.
Sorry but incorrect, the United Kingdom as with all other secular countries defaults the religion of a newborn to that of their parents, unless the parents specify otherwise.

You should perhaps re-read my use of the word "blame", as it is not aimed at an individual [namely you as I used it in response to you] but is used as a reasoning point as is common in the english language where it can be used to replace the phrase "at fault" in common vernacular.

Incidentally have you seen a birth certificate in Israel ?
There is a little box for you to fill in the religion of the newborn - and it is a standard certificate used by everyone
