My ex cheated on me, I found out from a friend and he lied it didn't happen - I later found out it had for sure and he admitted it - dumped him straight away, I don't think the trust would ever come back tbh

But I found it incredibly hard for about 2 months, I didn't cut him out because I see him a lot because he lives about 5 minutes from me but he knew me so well he knew I stay up late so he would message me at super late times knowing I'd be bored and reply instead of keeping busy and slagging his attempts off to my friends and I got on well with his family so I still spoke to them but his mum especially would say he missed me or I was always welcome round theirs but he would be there...At times I felt like giving him another chance but my friends were amazing and talked me out of it...had I been more closed off from my friends and not so close to my mum (who told me I was better than that) I think I would have gone back to him and cried over him going on nights out or holidays because I knew he was capable.

I don't think it's always as easy is what I'm saying
