...just off topic but touching on something you've said Amy about his mum saying she missed you..?..although, I don't think that was a good thing to say or not something I would have done personally/get involved in any way, you know...it is so hard for parents with long term relationships of their children that break up..that person has spent so long being a part of your family, they've been there for all family occasions etc and just always around...so it feels like you've lost a part of your family and there is a 'grieving' process there for parents as well....there was one particular one with one of my sons, it was an amicable break up really, she and I did so much together, we just connected so beautifully...I cried for months....well I didn't really cry for months but it was very hard to not have her as part of our daily lives anymore...anyways, off topic but what you said just made me think of it...
