OK so I thought I would really hate this, but I saw a trailer for it today and it totally gave me a massive dose of nostalgia
. The president's "our independence day" playing ominously over the trailer and then cutting off... A weathered looking Geoff Goldblum ("it's definitely bigger than the last one"... Oh Geoff
) and Bill Pullman. There's even a Will Smith cut'n'paste.
It will clearly be nonsensical, but then, so was the first one. I am tentatively getting hype...
