Nah, kids aren't stupid and more honesty and frank talking surrounding issues like drugs is a positive thing. Simply showing kids ONLY the horror stories of drugs doesn't help, because that's not the whole truth of the issue, and unless they live under a rock they'll learn that at some point anyway. We need to stop patronising kids imo. Unless they're wrapped in cotton wool, then at some point someone will approach them trying to push drugs onto them and tell them how great it will be, and unless they're prepared for this by way of honest education about drugs, they'll likely give in to the temptation, because this will be their first experience of hearing about drugs in a positive light/meeting someone who has taken drugs who seems perfectly fine, which will discredit ALL of the horror stories they've previously been told. Also, noone is going to look at Daniella Westbrook and see a glamorous promotion for drugs
