Why didn't the housemates tell charley is was her name the crowd were chanting to get out last night?

I can't believe they would still care about protecting her feelings after all the times she doesn't bother with theirs. Charley already tries to manipulate the crowd noises she hears (or heard) when she went out to make out that she is really popular or to make some other housemate feel bad because they are apparently hated.
