I think it's just the air of her that really rubs them up the wrong way.
She is a very confident self assured woman, and maybe she is being a bit dismissive of them or giving them the impression that she sees them as beneath her. I could laugh something like that off and not let it bother me much as I would just find it very stupid, but stuff like that can really get under the skin of a lot of people, although it seems to be mainly these 2 (Jeremy and Steph) who she is bothering most.
Maybe she is purposefully winding them up or something in bits we don't see?

..yeah, I agree Peggy..(hey btw, it's always lovely to see you posting..
..)..we all have our 'pet hates' in terms of character/personality etc, don't we...and due to personal experiences in life as well and her self confidence may be something that he just can't connect with at all and sees her as condescending or feeling that she's 'superior' in some way...
