Her reaction has been real IMO...she had tears because obviously at one time in their life they loved each other...they produced a son. She had tears recalling that time...and tears like many of us because he was an icon of his time.
Her staying in the house isn't a cold or calculated decision...I guess she wouldn't be welcome at his funeral and they had no relationship what so ever for 30 years . Their love must have grown to hate...it happens unfortunately. It's not to say that when they die you remember those feelings you once had and that 'hate' takes a back seat.
I don't think she has played up to it at all....it's all real.
