You're not meant to ask for presents on your birthday - but Big Brother failed to observe that rule today when he asked the housemates to make him a gift and a cake for his special day tomorrow.
A gleeful Amanda read out the laminate: "The partygoers' cake must feature a special birthday message to Big Brother. The partygoers must ensure the candles on the cake are lit, so that Big Brother can make a special birthday wish before blowing out the candles."
The other housemates stared at her blankly, looking distinctly unexcited as the twin carried on reading.
"You must give Big Brother a very special present. Partygoers must use their creativity and - in-genooe?"
"Ingenuity," Gerry and Ziggy chorused.
"Ingenuity," Amanda repeated, "to ensure that their birthday present is from the heart. You must not give Big Brother anything that is already owned by Big Brother."
