HOLLYWOOD beauty Scarlett Johansson went on a romantic date with Big Brother hunk Ziggy after SHE asked him out.
The Lost in Translation star, 22, took a shine to the ladies’ man at a London nightclub where he was working.
She arranged to meet smitten Ziggy, 26, the next day at a posh restaurant and he boasted to pals about the date.
A friend said: “He couldn’t believe his luck. Girls just can’t seem to resist him.”
Ziggy boasted to pals he’d BED the movie stunner.
But all the BB romeo got was a peck on the cheek after the star’s minder put a damper on their date.
Scoop star Scarlett met Ziggy in London’s Movida club, where he was working as a doorman.
She was partying during a break from filming Woody Allen comedy Match Point and struck up a conversation with Ziggy.
He then turned on the charm to bowl Scarlett over and she invited him out to lunch the next day.
A pal said: “Ziggy couldn’t believe his luck. He was bursting to tell us all that he’d managed to pull Scarlett. Ziggy knew she was coming into the club and he really put the groundwork in with her.
“He laid the charm on thick — he knows how to work the ladies.
“But even we were shocked that Scarlett fell for it hook, line and sinker.
“He had her giggling all night with his flirting — and as she was leaving she asked him out.
“He came up to me and said: ‘You’ll never believe who I’m going out for lunch with!’
“He was always on with some girl or another, but by the grin on his face I could tell this was something special.
“Ziggy was boasting to everyone that Scarlett had asked him out. He’s such a jammy bloke, no matter who the girls are they can’t seem to resist him.”
The pal said ex-boy band star Ziggy boasted that Scarlett would be the next notch on his bedpost.
But the date didn’t go according to to plan and he ended up with egg on his face.
The pal explained: “Ziggy and Scarlett went out for lunch at trendy Balans in Soho.
“But when her minder turned up during the meal things went a bit cool.
"They had a good time — but the nearest he got to pulling her was a peck on the cheek as she left.
“Ziggy and Scarlett swapped emails and phone numbers and kept in touch for a while.
“But I don’t think they’ve spoken for ages now.”
