I hope you will agree that, so far, I have NEVER directly attacked ANY poster (except in a humourous vein) - and that my reply (above) was in direct response to SMC's post of "shutup you little person..".
As his/her insulting post had not been addressed by a moderator (as I would have expected) I took it upon myself to post a reply (which I hoped would have been an end to this matter).
A collective admonishment by Amy has done little to improve my feelings about this.

Hmmmmm? So Amy, just like Big Brother, you feel that you can issue vague warnings, but have no need to address any points made in response to your utterances.
I reiterate my main point ........ I would have had no need for my (somewhat forcefull) reply to SMC if his/her post of
"shutup you little person.." (posted on 19-7-2004 at 03:57 PM) had been appropriately dealt with by a moderator.
