That's more of a power fantasy though, look at Kratos in the God of War games, he usually just wears a loin cloth but is he meant to be seen as a sexual object? No, he's meant to be a badass that goes around ripping things apart and making you feel like a god for it. Men are designed to be walking talking constructs of masculinity and a lot of female characters are designed to be eye candy first and foremost.

It's not something I have a problem with really, it's the developer's choice to do that, it's their art. I do admit it bugs me when people try to make out that there's an equal balance between the genders and their representation because there isn't as gaming is a male dominated hobby, most games are made for men first and foremost. That's just the way it is. Female gamers aren't as desirable as an audience as males because there's simply more male gamers out there.
