I noticed this as well and it goes well - a gentle wake up and smoothly delivered. so much better then the crokey sussana reid and mr morgan over on ITV.
BBC may be bloated - but the news they deliver to me nearly as good as my man eamon homes on sky. ( I now think sky is the best but have to flick back to bbc for local news. )
