Let's suppose she was truly ill and therefore legitimately excused from the task. If so, she should also be excused from the task result. Only non-toxic housemates were allowed to nominate. Gemma was not a 'non-toxic' housemate as she ill and not playing. Gillian clearly said, that she would have picked her as toxic. As a result, Gemma should not have been treated as a non-toxic housemate and therefore should not have been able to nominate.

And they would know the controversy that would cause, so it begs the question: are they trying to turn the public against her on purpose?
