John had tears in his eyes when Gemma spoke of her mother walking again....that shows how he has empathy and is a warm person....it also shows that he can be gullible but that's not his fault...she's extremely good at fooling people.

He also was the one who wanted to make sure that Steph was monitored on the phone to ensure Dani got to speak to her kids.

He is a nice guy....I like his intelligence and that is something in very short supply from some of the others, especially the girls.
