When you look at other international Big Brother's they are gradually declining in ratings and one of the few that is still going strong is BBUK.
I think compared to other Big Brother's it has a diversity in characters like the older woman (Carole) and other unique characters wheras the other versions have gone down the straight, good looking 20 something group of housemates.
My parents always get into it as well (although there is a bit of moaning before it starts

) because of the diversity. I'm sure if my parents watched the Australian one, which is aimed at teens only, they would be bored to tears and wouldn't like it.
Why do you think BBUK has continued to be such a success?
