Personally, I think that Gemma was demanding another blow dry and her nails done so to appease her BB worked it into her birthday.
I don't begrudge her a party and cake. That is what every housemate gets but BB just can't seem to bend over enough when it comes t o Gemma's demands. That's why I want her out tonight...I'd love it if the British Public show her that they are not push overs and fools.
