BIG BROTHER
MAY 25TH: DAY TWO
After all the excitement of entering the brand new Big Brother house last
night, the twelve housemates have been together for less than 24 hours but
the action has already begun.

Fire-fighter JONNY was making the most of the alcohol flowing in the house.
A little bit tipsy, the Geordie lad just couldn't stop talking and found an
ally in fellow chatterbox JADE. But it didn't take long for him to turn his
attention to personal trainer LEE's body building magazine. Stunned by the
muscular images he announced to his fellow housemates "Have you seen me with
my kit off? I'm like a twiglet. I'm like a pipe cleaner!"

It may only be the first night, but already model ALEX has a few concerns
about the rest of the housemates. Away from the rest of the group he
revealed to SANDY "I'm just worried they'll eat all the food, a packet of
sausages has gone already, and I like to think that we all eat together, and
I'd quite fancied those sausages. " At about midnight he decided to turn in
for the night. But before long, the shouting and laughter emanating
primarily from JADE soon made ALEX realise that his early night might not be
easy to come by.

The housemates may only be few hours into their first night, but already the
girls seem to have sussed out the boys. During a cosy chat in the girls'
bedroom, the topic of male model ALEX arose, prompting ALISON to yelp
"fitness flippin' Armani man. I love him. He's stunning". Unstoppable the
girls carried on their character of the male housemates, as KATE posed the
question "What do we really think of the boys?" Unanimously they agreed
Geordie JONNY was funny, trainee solicitor PJ was quiet, half-German model
ALEX was fit, and that Scottish SANDY seemed a little distanced from the
rest, putting it down to his advantage in years; at 43 he is the oldest
housemate. The girls may have thought a little differently if they had
witnessed ALEX's earlier agitation as he failed to get to sleep because of
the noise they were making earlier that night!
However, despite some initial concerns, the girls agreed they liked
everybody, but then mature student LYNNE turned her analysis to boisterous
JADE stating "you'd be even nicer if you were a bit quieter."

The housemates got a rude awakening this morning when the cockerel decided
to announce daybreak with some fervent crowing! SUNITA, JADE, SPENCER and
JONNY, who had stayed awake chatting whilst the other housemates slept,
rushed out into the garden. Amazed at their first sight of the chickens
trainee lawyer SUNITA cried, "Oh! Can we call that one Adam?"
Whilst the others slowly drifted off to bed, the last person to turn in for
the night was SPENCER who was up until 6.30am. Just one hour later at 7.30am
eager early birds ALISON and SANDY were up cleaning out the chicken coop. It
wasn't long before the rest of the bleary eyed housemates joined them for
their first breakfast together in their new home.
Just a few short hours into the series and the housemates are immediately
starting to drive an enthusiastic web audience to the popularity polls. Well
ahead of the pack already, with an impressive rating of 84%, is fitness
fanatic KATE, but hard on her heels comes SPENCER, with an equally
impressive 83%. Jade has proved the least popular housemate so far with just
22%.
