I got asked for ID a lot when I was 18 or 19 cos I looked younger than that, people thought I was around 15 or 16 at the time. The last time I got asked for ID was a couple of years ago when I'd walked into the local Spar wearing jeans and a hoodie, and bought some cans of lager. They'd had problems with 14-year-olds buying alcohol and were checking everyone's ID, thankfully one of the staff knew I was over 18 and persuaded the people to serve me. It doesn't happen now - I could pass for around 22 and people usually take me more seriously.
