Default Big clubs won't buy a £400k Mahrez type player

Last week ahead of the Leicester City clash, Wenger admitted Arsenal could not buy a Mahrez (£400k from L2 France) or N' Golo Kante (£5.6m from Caen) as they are too cheap, as rabid fans now demand £40m "galactico" type players as the high price tag means they must be good. *cough Depay cough*.

Last season Man U saw Deli Alli when his MK Dons side trashed them 4-0 but didn't small him up. Too cheap, not galactico enough like a Schweignsteiger or wannabe galactico Depay?

The MOTD pundits agreed and said big teams like Arsenal, Man U , Cheslea etc are only in the market now for ready made big money players. Sad, really as there are really amazing players in championship, League 1-2 and National League. If National League side Cheltenham FC or Forest Green played Aston Villa then I'd put my money on the National league side as they are not just a better team on the whole individually they actually have better players than the EPL side.

LVG looked disgusted at having to play Shrewsbury last year, Klopp looked bemused at having to play Exeter City this year. They won't look at players beneath "elite" level.

I just hope that now that LCFC look likely to secure a CL spot they don't start splashing the cash on "galactico" type players who wouldn't have given the team the time of day a year ago.
