Default

I once fell head over heels in love and hurt myself badly. My ego was bruised, my pride wounded, and my heart was broken.

More seriously; I had a fractured skull when I fought off on an idiot who attacked me with a claw hammer - that was pretty stupid in hindsight.

I once jumped from a high rock in the cliffs down onto a boulder some 6' below whilst on holiday. The problem was; the boulder was covered in slimy moss, there was a 30' to 40' sheer drop to the sea, and I was wearing 'Flip-Flops'.

When I jumped, I slid TOWARDS the edge of the boulder towards the sheer drop and had to 'flick' my back to stop myself from going over the edge.

I slipped a couple of discs and have problems (and immense pain) to this day - though fortunately, it only becomes 'unbearable' infrequently.

I have had lots of injuries but I think those two are the 'Standout' most stupid ones which could have been avoided.

Still; 'C'est La Vie'
