Gerry's comments may have been rude, judgemental and even provocative BUT they were not illegal
Gerry said she sleeps with older guys, but he did not say prostitute and even if he said that, it is an insult than a slander, because prostitution is legal activity not illegal.

Charley's comment was against the law of this land....BIG difference...
I really don't see what is so difficult to grasp about this...it is glaringly obvious that she went too far whether there were mitigating circumstances or not, what she did was uncondonable.....Gerry may still take it further when he gets out, and will have every right to.
