I must have a word with our cable supplier - I don't think I was watching the same program that Wolverine and helenrobin saw.
Whilst not great fans of Victor (he is a bit of a 'one trick pony') my wife and I saw Vic acting appropriately (and with other HM's interests in mind) by not indulging Shell's public "why are you victimising
me?" routine during the task. His response of "I will talk to you later" acknowledged that she had a problem and simply deferred it's resolution for a short time.
Shell, who we quite like, on this occasion behaved in a self-obsessed manner that guaranteed that they would fail the task. My wifes reaction to her obvious distress and uncontrolled anger was "oops, poor girl seems to be undergoing a bad case of PMS" (as a mere male I would never dare to offer such an explanation myself

)
Despite being the victim (for once) of a quite viscous and somewhat unfair onslaught, Vic behaved (by his standards) with remarkable restraint. He also initiated the 'making up' process and offered the healing hug.
If anything, this episode will have improved Victor's image and thereby promoted his chances .......... funny old game innit?
