Pellegrini: Pressure will prove too much for Leicester City

Quote:
Me: Dear Mr Pellegrini
You are a charming talented Man with a lot to give football. However your laughable attempt at doing mind games really isn't the route you should be going down. You are just a nice guy it probably won't work, I'm afraid.

You see, Pellers, this talk about pressure getting to Leicester is nonsensical. Leicester have spent the last 2 seasons under worse pressure, real pressure. This season is so unexpected, almost like a sweet lovely reward for the terrors of last season's relegation fight. The Leicester players can now play safe in the knowledge they are 2 points away from European football. And they will get paid their relegation survival bonuses. Will your lot get paid their title bonuses? Fighting relegation brings far more pressure than failing to win a title. How many times has Wenger been sacked in last 10 years?

Leicester's last 2 seasons have been hugely about pressure. Season 2013/14 Pressure to get promoted to lucrative Premier League when they had failed to proceed in play offs in previous year and were then clear favourites. So they have experience going for a title in a competitive environment. Season 2014/15 pressure to avoid relegation. Being rooted to the bottom of Premier League often 6 points adrift of Burnely and QPR (they were still bottom 1 years ago, AV have to take comfort from that). Yet they overcame the pressure and manager Pearson being sacked and reinstated and went on an incredible run to climb to 14th place. If anything Leicester will fail due to getting too cocky and complacent, thinking they can beat the likes of Newcastle, Crystal Palace and forget what it's like to battle for survival.

If I were you, Mr Pellegrini I would focus on the pressure on you. You spent £47m on Sterling and £50m on "sicknote" De Bruyne. And where has that got you? Those 2 purchases alone cost 3 times the entire Leicester squad.

Hope you find this helpful and doesn't give you pressure.

Kindest regards

Alex Front2
