That's commonplace in the modern entertainment industry though. Kate Moss lost all her deals in the cocaine scandal and they came running back afterwards.
I do think though that this scandal is going to really shed a light on these more 'ambiguous' performance enhancers not just in tennis but the wider sporting industry as well, personally I could see a lot more similar situations coming out in the future. As for Maria her penalty is going to depend IMO on how the ITF determine the penalty. If they go by the letter of the law and treat it as an illegal substance usage for 28 days I could see potentially 6 to 12 months. If they go hard and treat it as a 10 year usage she'll get the four.
