Nah, anyone calling a staff member a "stupid bitch" (as anything other than a joke) or being otherwise verbally aggressive in my place is out for 24 hours. If they do it again, they're out permanently. You do have rights and you shouldn't accept your employers telling you that you just have to "have a thicker skin" when it comes to verbal abuse.
