My fav part of today: my least favourite (most hated?) big customer, a seriously rude and detestable bigot of a man who I have had multiple run ins with, lost his biggest bet of the day (£500). Just as I was closing, I found a crumpled bet slip (top copy, unprocessed) of his for the same amount in the same race, on the horse that actually won it. He obviously second guessed himself and discarded it. Would have returned £3000
. Such sad story, makesed my day.
Seriously though this guy is a horror. I'd have gotten rid of him long ago if he didn't single-handedly account for almost 80% of our entire greyhounds turnover
