I have no interest in all of this Trump bollocks tbh, besides wondering when everyone started caring about American politics, and how on earth such an obvious racist has so many fans.. Yet all of these Trump supporters vehemently deny being racist..its baffling really
..I think that's it though Vicky, part of the fascination because it seems so baffling..I don't know about in America in general, how much Americans themselves are baffled by the 'rise of Trump' but I'm not sure that many people even really took him seriously in the beginning and yet there he is and seeming quite 'un-stoppable'....it's funny because he's been likened to Hitler so many times, you can barely look up an image of him without seeing that association, him alongside Hitler in some kind of meme, type thing....and it's the likening of an 'ideal' in a way that Hitler had people believing in as well before he became what he became/what we now know in hindsight that he became but what people obviously didn't all see at the time in his 'rise'....obviously that was 'back in the day' so we could maybe look at that as a factor but here we are in 2016 and seeing something which is being deemed as similar/how can that happen..?...whatever we think of Trump personally, he's someone (I believe..)...who our children and our children's children etc will be discussing in their history lessons in time to come....

..I think it's too simplistic as well to feel that all Trump supporters are just inherently racist in the same way as we know (in hindsight..)...that supporters of Hitler's 'ideal' weren't either in his rise, they just didn't have that hindsight thing, many of his supporters were very much 'non-Hitler' once the realisation of who he actually was..it's funny because one of the news reporters in a vid I watched recently in talking about Trump possibly being un-stoppable said that, it would mean many people voting for someone else who they didn't necessarily support to make a vote against Trump, rather than a vote for someone else because they believed in them...(a bit like some of the Big Brother voting....)...and how hard that sort of voting would be to hope for..and yet it seems to me that a big part of Trump's success has been exactly that, people voting against an 'American politics establishment' that they aren't believing in anymore, rather than actually voting for him..that seems to be a part of it as well....

...anyways for me personally, I can't not be interested in all of this 'Trumpism' because it's real, it's happening in 2016 and I'm witnessing it and if I ever do have grandchildren and they ask why/how/what the heck..I want to be able to answer their questions with as much understanding and knowledge as I possibly can, rather than...oh, I didn't take much notice because he was a prejudiced idiot...(..one who may actually become one of the most powerful people in the world../Jesus H ..)....
