It was a good movie with some fantastic performances from John Goodman and Mary Elizabeth Winster but it left so much unresolved for me and the end was sub par imo

RE: the second point - did you not see the part where the large alien ship was releasing the toxic gas? At that part Michelle put her gas mask on to avoid becoming like the crazy lady.
