should we do a u-turn or a eubank on boxing ?
should we do a u-turn or a eubank on boxing ? 31.3.16
when i was little
boxing had glamour
saturday nights were like xmas tinsel
back then i was to young to poetry grammar.
we would all settee group
the TV remote control was uno
george and his house had a silent sound loop
he was at the ring supporting Bruno.
then there was tragedy
was it time boxing got on its bicycle
chris was professional and in no way savagery
but that was the end of watson michael.
i just said it was tragic
but this sport is brutal
the risks are no invisible magic
consequences are never fruitful.
onto his fathers path
but ant and dec are not commentating
a repeat is a terrible aftermath
but i'm a celeb get me out of here Junior is calculating.
risky is boxing
but we must never deport
once it goes underground it has no detoxing
even with danger lets manage and protect this sport.
( as bad as boxing is - we must not ban it as it will go underground and that will be far more dangerous. chris Eubank gets my ultimate respect as he is a true professional and acted so honorable while he son was fighting and his advice from the side of the ring to his son is the proof. i would like to make clear the GM crop has nothing to do with this poem and if you need a george try googling brunos trainer. )
