and of course, if we allow the law to become a political weapon, then everyone will have no choice but to tow the party line because people, including activists will be picked up on vague suspicions.

When our government departments route out a criminal we all say “well done” but when a whistle-blower routes out illegal government activity, half the nation call that whistle-blower an ‘enemy of the state’ . Governments regularly classify things because they know its either illegal or embarrassing….We need to protect our whistle-blowers.
