I could just as easily turn that around though and say that you take the show too seriously if you care that someone dislikable wins a trashy reality show that has a million viewers? Like, it has no cultural significance whatsoever. We all take the show seriously enough that we're debating things that happened several years ago on an internet forum really, but does it honestly affect my real life if someone I find boring wins? No, am I distraught? No, I move on with my life because Big Brother isn't the be all and end all of everything - but it's still irritating to invest yourself in a show for the ending to be appalling

I agree that the public doesn't really care or remember who wins in hindsight, I mean for most series ironically they probably remember those who didn't win cause they were the actual stars of it (), but it does somewhat encourage new housemates, especially under VTE, to just float their way through, never cause waves and never do or say anything and there's a good chance they'll be handed the title and a £100k, on no merit whatsoever. That's a terrible, counterproductive thing for the show as a whole
