I don't think you could jump into it now and have any idea what's going on with a lot of things tbh, there haven't been many "standalone" episodes for ages, it's essentially all a running storyline at this point. You could probably start at the beginning of S3, if you watched Season 1 ep 17 and then thoroughly read the wikipedia page for season 2, but you'd be missing most of the best of the show
