With the characters, I liked Annies boss the most; she defines 80's, her style, her over the top hairstyle that changes every 20 mins of the filmsu. I like Annie as well, it was good to see her go from someone who was quite ashamed of herself about her lifestlye, to by the end not giving a ****. I also liked Blane, sure he was sometimes misguided, but I think his heart was in the right place, and I was definitely rooting for him and Annie to be together (not that I care about the love part)
I hated Duckie, sorry but I get he was in love with Annie, but the guy was clearly a psychopath, potential stalker/Serial Killer. He was just a twat. I was half expecting the film to turn into a slasher movie and Duckie ends up killing all of Blanes snobby friends (lets be honest they should have died anyway).
Overall I enjoyed it more then I thought I would. Its better then St Elmos, but I consider Breakfast Club and 16 Candles better films. Still I would rate it 4/5.
It will be interesting to see who everyone thinks Annie should have ended up with? Blane, Duckie, or should she had said **** off to both of them and stayed single, potentially her and her boss going all thelma and louise?
