It wasn't aimed at supporters of terrorism, it was a jab at anyone with sympathy towards immigrants given the last part.

Who has ever said that we shouldn't deport a terrorist because they'll face consequences? That's something that is said about immigrants and refugees, not terrorists.

In fact WHY would we send a terrorist suspect back to say, Libya? It would be quite pointless, better for them to serve their sentences in a place where they won't be potentially broken out.
