No one would have entered a school with explosives in it. If the bomb squad reacted I've faith that they had it covered.
I don't think the powers that be are burying bad news by not giving publicity to hoaxers. Also, not everything can be reported... and if they are trying to bury the news, simply by the fact that you know about riots in Europe suggests that it's not been buried very deep. I don't see a conspiracy here... although that's not to say that the government doesn't sometimes mask a sticky story by releasing it on the same day as something of national importance is being reported. But that's not a new thing.
