I think he gets a lot of stick on here but not really anywhere else.

He's a normal young lad with a bit of ambition. He wanted to be famous, he wanted to be on the telly and its happened for him. He proved time and again that he can carry a show. He's got his own views, hes not a puppet. He brings his own personality to the show.

Yes, he may be a bit loud and in your face for some people's taste. But he's working on a light entertainment show its not newsnight.

Plus he's an out gay man who is a big part of what is still a pretty big show on UK TV after all these years.
