I agree, they could have even put in a lock to help as to the result too, such as 2 UK Nations had to vote to leave for it to be binding on the govt, or link any result to turnout or even a minimum majority needed for it to be binding.

The way David Cameron has in the end done this referendum,has not in any way assisted the remain side.
More credit to him for that and I have criticised heavily him not giving 16/17 years olds the vote on this as to 'their' futures.

If the leave side fail to win here narrowly, they should be grateful it was not a likely even bigger loss to their cause.
