They are both as bad as each other.

Her being booed is down to her own actions and what she has revealed about herself and her past- this shows what sort of person she is, and highlights any number of negative qualities. I would imagine the booers just have little respect for her morals. That's not down to Marco, that's down to her own actions.

As for him, he is just as bad. Why get engaged, if you have so little respect for the other person and need a pass- defeats the object of proposing marriage really. And he is responsible for his own actions and choices- Laura is not forcing him to do anything.

They deserve each other and the consequences of their actions.
