That is what happened.
Any of the 'others' who don't do enough over the series to gain housemate status will be dispensed with anyway at the time of BBs choosing when they bring the 'others' role to an end eventually.
Actually as of now, none of the 'others' have gained housemate status anyway,in fact it is housemates who are now becoming 'others' and ,losing their own housemate status.
