Default Female Debut Singles - The FINAL. *VOTING OPEN*

First of all

Spoiler:

Life has been a bit hectic, and let's admit, big brother is pretty impressive this year.

Now, let's get on with it.

As I stated in the main thread there will be three finalists but there was a three-way tie for third place so now we have five. (oop)

One vote only, use it wisely!

Here are your finalists along with their debut single/video:

Spoiler:

Flying her way to the final it's 90s/00s pop sensation Britney Spears, this was a very popular single which had the whole world singing along. Nobody really knew (not even herself) how immensely famous this song made her.

Year of release: 1998
Billboard chart position: 1
UK chart position: 1

----------------------

Of course queen bey would reach the final! (and no I haven't rigged it). Being the stand out star of Destiny's Child This was her highly anticipated debut single that took the world by storm! The birth of booty shaking and twerking!

Year of release: 2003
Billboard chart position: 1
UK chart position: 1

----------------------

Oh, 2004/5. Two ground-breaking years for music. Gwen Stefani finally stepped into the solo world following her previous success with No Doubt and boy, did she make the right decision! Love. Angel. Music. Baby. gave us so many bops, not the mention her amazing friendship with Eve, "We were waiting for" this solo single since the 90s

Year of release: 2004
Billboard chart position: 47
UK chart position: 4

---------------------

Now, let's be real. EVERYONE knew the words to this song, extremely catchy and very soothing. The music video is very nostalgic and probably reminds a lot of you of your childhood. This song had a lot more success in the UK than the USA (85th biggest selling single of all time in the UK)

Year of release: 1997
Billboard chart position: 42
UK chart position: 2

--------------------

Last, but by no means least it's the UK star of 2006! Another incredibly catchy song, Smile took the UK by storm and Lily gained very fast popularity, it garnered so much interest because her accent is so noticeable and it almost sounds like she's talking rather than singing (no shade) but we can all agree she has tons of talent and this is a great debut single.

Year of release: 2006
Billboard chart position: 49
UK chart position: 1

So, there you have it. Who deserves the title for the best debut single? YOU decide!
