There's just been too much of a cast for Freakshow/Hotel, to the point that when characters died I couldn't care less because they've had little screen time. Not the best way to run a show that only (usually) has those characters for 13 episodes.

Tbf, with Hotel characters dying usually meant
more screen time as a ghost.
