Are Liam and Amy over before they have even begun..?

There's an frosty tension between Amy and Liam...

Last night it looked like they were getting on like a Halfway house on fire. The two flirted, chatted from dusk till dawn and started puckering up under the sheets before retiring to their double bed.

But it looks like romance has been well and truly extinguished.

The Halfway House awoke to a cacophony of sirens which prompted Jonty to perform a ritualistic interpretative dance sequence with one of his teddy bears.

"I'm getting into a groove," Jonty mused while dancing with the cuddly pink bear.

Liam, the other cuddly, pink bear now a resident of the Halfway House, sat up and prodded Amy. She prodded him back and then got out of bed. Liam watched, seemingly unsure of what to say to Amy who certainly wasn't in any hurry to talk to him.

All four Halfway Housemates had a special conference on the length of kip they'd all had, and then Amy got back into bed next to Liam.

"You," Liam teased, "bloody prodding me."

"I just thought the quicker you do it," Amy jokingly replied, "the sooner it's over with."

Moments later, Liam tried to make small talk as Amy changed her clothes.

"What a funny old day," Liam said, broaching the subject of previous events.

"Why?" asked Amy.

"Yesterday I mean," replied Liam, "today is cool."

"Today hasn't happened yet," countered Amy.

"Good point," said Liam, "but it's beginning. It's setting out on it's merry little journey."

"********** 'ell," said Amy, "that was a stupid idea, what we did yesterday."

"What?" asked a surprised and bedazzled Liam.

Amy didn't respond after and the two Halfway housemates didn't seem to have much more to say to one another.

Amy remained in the bedroom as Liam went to the garden.

This could get awkward...
