Cameron had no choice but to leave. I don't know why people are surprised. And for most of the next three months Parliament will be in recess anyway.
Boris is very popular with Conservative members and they're the ones who will choose the next leader. If Labour have any sense they'll take this opportunity to get rid of Corbyn before they present themselves as unelectable at a general election.
