No some of Scotland believe(d) that we were an independent nation capable of making a good place for ourselves within the wider, looser constructs of the EU and away from
direct Westminster rule.
It appears to in fact be the UK as a whole that believes it is so strong / rich that it can stand entirely alone, hence leaving the larger union, to become a solo nation like Denmark and Swe... oh no wait you were wrong about those too.
