..there is a 'drama' though which is why the MP inquiry is happening atm to look into company dress codes which are unreasonable to an employee's comfort in their job, when that discomfort is only being asked and expected of one gender/females...it would only be something that they could asked to sign up for if it was applicable to both genders...
...some of the other airline examples given are not being allowed to wear a cardigan or cover their arms because it's apparently deemed 'frumpy'...and with shop assistants..female shop assistants being asked to unbutton their blouse and 'flirt a little' with male customers...
