ITV2 clearly had a vision for Love Island doing better things this year and threw loads of money at it and promoted the **** out of it day in, day out and have reaped the rewards with like an extra million viewers year on year. C5 on the other hand blew the budget on a new house which was pathetically closed after a week and barely promoted the series at all and left Rylan to be the figurehead of the show teasing everything for days on end.

Put in the promo and people will give it a chance. Produce a good start and people will stick with it. Love Island did both, BB did the latter. Imagine what the figures might've been now had the launch posted a marginally higher number, since the ratings have been consistent most of the series?

C5's treatment of the show is a disgrace
