It seems to be saying that he was doing it deliberately though, and speculates that they might have been "vying for position" before this incident was filmed. This is purely based on BMW driver stereotyping though
. That said, the other stereotype here - a boy racer in a corsa - doesn't help matters. Maybe lanes merging and neither of them wanted to drop back...
