..I don't think that what he said with the level of alcohol he had had/or the effect of the alcohol could be classed as a contradiction as such...I'm sure in that alcohol hazed moment, he genuinely felt that he loved Ryan because it's the first time with such moments of enjoyment for him, that Ryan hadn't been there and he would have felt a real longing for him../his kisses and cuddles etc..whether there is potential for a love between them and how they really feel will be put into more perspective when they both are out and they're able to fully explore their feelings in a 'normal' environment....but yeah, lovin' the ol Hughie...
